Al-Sultan Recognised Among Top 3 Halal Start-Ups at MIHAS 2026
Al-Sultan proudly marked an important milestone at MIHAS 2026 after being recognised as one of the Top 3 participating companies in the Halal Start-Up Business Development Programme 2026, organised by Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank) in collaboration with the Halal Development Corporation (HDC).
The programme brought together 50 selected Malaysian start-ups and SMEs with the objective of strengthening their business capabilities, market readiness and potential for expansion into the global halal and export markets.
Throughout the programme, participating companies underwent business assessment and capacity-building activities covering areas such as digital marketing, social commerce, business development, halal market readiness and export opportunities.

During MIHAS 2026, Al-Sultan was honoured to receive recognition as one of the programme’s three outstanding participating companies, reflecting the brand’s continued progress, commitment to quality and ambition to expand beyond Malaysia.
The recognition was presented by YBhg. Datuk Nurbayu Kasim Chang, President and Chief Executive Officer of EXIM Bank, together with Puan Faizah Mohd Mokhtar, Head of International Strategy.
For Al-Sultan, the achievement represents another important step in our journey toward developing a strong Malaysian halal F&B brand with the capability to grow internationally through franchising, strategic partnerships and export opportunities.
